On the afternoon of December 12, 2024, the Opening Ceremony of the 6th Vietnam & Japan U13 International Youth Football Tournament took place at SORA gardens Links Football Field.<\/p>\n
This year’s tournament gathered 12 teams, including 6 Vietnamese teams: Becamex Binh Duong FC, Hanoi FC, Hue FC, Dong Thap FC, Phu Nhuan – Ho Chi Minh City FC and An Giang FC; 5 U-13 clubs from Japan: Kawasaki Frontale Todoroki, Yokohama FC Tsurumi, Shimizu S-Pulse Mishima, Vegalta Sendai Junior Youth, FC Tokyo; and the FELDA Football Academy team from Malaysia.<\/p>\n
Attending the ceremony were Mr. ITO Naoki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam; Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Akihiro Yoshida, Chairman of Kawasaki Frontale Club, Mr. Kaneda Hiroki, General Director of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company; leaders of departments, branches, and sectors; along with heads of delegations, coaches, and athletes from the teams.<\/p>\n
On the afternoon of December 12, the opening match between Becamex Binh Duong FC and Kawasaki Frontale Todoroki took place. The tournament will take place from December 12 to December 15, 2024 at Binh Duong New City Stadium. In particular, on December 15, the All-Star match will take place, gathering the best players from the participating teams. The match will be broadcast live on the tournament’s official website and VTV5 channel from 14:30 to 15:30.<\/p>\n
All other matches within the tournament framework will also be broadcast live on the information page of the Vietnam & Japan U13 International Youth Football Tournament.<\/p>\n
